These are the factors that will determine if a Community meets the requirements for assistance.

  • Location identified
  • Location refurbished
  • Location secure
  • Furniture in place
  • Is the entity registered
  • Is it an NGO
  • Is it a CBO
  • Other type of organization
  • Project(s) undertaken
  • Management committee in place
  • Short list of potential managers/supervisors identified
  • Income generating activities identified
  • Instructors trained
  • Training needs assessment  done
  • Training course /outline in place
  • Recruitment/enrollment arrangement defined
  • Programme standard in place
  • Accreditation approved
  • Administrative arrangement in place
  • Record keeping system in place
  • Inventory control in place
  • Financial arrangement in place
  • Comments based on visit
 

The Project will finance:

  •  The equipment and software required by a basis 5-computer CAP sites;
  •  Networking and administration software;
  •  Annual conference or meeting of CAP staff and support personnel for promotion and the sharing of experiences;
  • The costs of implementing the program in a way that gives technical support and engages the local community as a means of fostering sustainability.
